How to become a Licensed Security Guard in Ontario?

Meet the Eligibility Criteria
- 18 years of age or older
- Clean criminal record
- Legal authorization to work in Canada

Complete the online training
Our courses start at $89.99 only!

Get your First Aid/CPR Certificate
- Upon completion of the course, you are required to submit a copy of your WSIB-approved Emergency First Aid Certificate.

- Book your slot with our experts for a full in-class First Aid CPR/AED certificate training.
04.
Recieve Training Completion Number (TCN)
Your Training Completion Number will be accredited via email within 3-4 business days upon course completion and furnishing proof of your First-aid/CPR certification.
05.
Take the Ministry Exam
The ministry exam is conducted by Serco Canada (Drive Test Centers). However, it can also be completed online.
- The test comprises 60 MCQ questions.
- Candidates must attempt the questions within 75 minutes.
- Each candidate is required to score a minimum of 62% to clear the exam.
06.
Online Application for License
Students may apply online to get their licenses. This is the final step to becoming a licensed security guard in Ontario.
